Who We Are
WithTool is an independent review site focused exclusively on AI tools and SaaS software. We are not affiliated with any of the vendors we review. Our only incentive is to give you an accurate, honest picture of each product so you can make a confident buying decision.
Our Mission
Finding the right software is hard. The market is noisy, vendor marketing is everywhere, and most “review” sites are thinly veiled sales pages.
Our mission is simple: help freelancers and small teams cut through the noise and find tools that actually work for them — without wasting money on subscriptions they'll cancel in a month.
How We Test Tools
Every tool we review goes through hands-on testing. We sign up for a real account, use the product in a realistic workflow, and spend at least 30 days with it before writing a review. Our evaluation covers:
- Ease of use — how long does it take a new user to get productive?
- Feature depth — does it do what it promises, and how well?
- Value for money — is the pricing fair relative to what you get?
- Support and reliability — how does the vendor respond when things go wrong?
- Fit for small teams — is this tool practical for a team of 1–10 without a dedicated IT department?
We re-evaluate tools when major updates are released and update our reviews accordingly.
